As a Bookkeeper, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the district’s fiscal operations. This position requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and a commitment to excellence.

💼 Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile financial records and reports
Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments
Assist with budget tracking and financial audits
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal financial regulations
Collaborate with school and district staff to support financial needs

✅ Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience (school district experience is a plus!)

In response to SB181, our district has created an electronic verification form that allows staff to communicate with students via platforms not monitored by the district (like social media or text messaging).

🔹 If you wish to allow this communication, please complete the form linked in this post for each staff member.

🔹 If you’ve already signed a paper copy, you’re all set—no need to complete the electronic form again.

🛠️ Here’s what happens after you submit the form:

The guardian fills out the form.
The school employee receives an email from Droplet.
The guardian receives a confirmation email from no-reply@mail.droplet.io.
The school employee reviews and accepts the connection.
The principal receives a notification and reviews the request.
The form is then sent to the district office for final approval.
Once approved, the guardian receives a final confirmation email.
