JJ is a shining example of what it means to lead with purpose and compassion. As a peer leader at EMS, JJ consistently goes above and beyond—volunteering for roles, stepping up when others step back, and treating everyone with respect and kindness. He serves as a role model for his peers and leads with pride as a key member of Sources of Strength. JJ doesn’t just show up, he makes a difference every single day. We’re so proud to celebrate his impact!

🐾 Bulldog Pride in Action!
Yesterday, we had the joy of visiting our Bulldogs and what an inspiring visit it was. The Academy is working hard to make a difference, and it shows in every corner of the building.
Meet Ms. Su Sheridan, a experienced educator from Elkhorn Middle School who’s embraced her new role at the high school with heart and dedication. She’s making a powerful impact and connecting beautifully with her students.
Shoutout to Simani Hunt, Avery Ford, and Isaiah Miller- these students are setting goals and absolutely crushing them. We couldn’t be prouder of their drive and determination.
We loved spending time with our Dogs and seeing the incredible work happening every day. Keep leading, keep growing, and keep showing that Bulldog spirit! 💙

From feathers to scales to shells, students explored real-life examples that connected beautifully with their reading unit. Cross-cutting concepts like this make learning about phenomena all the more special. It’s moments like these that remind us: when learning is interactive and joyful, it sticks. Just look at those smiles!
Way to be courageous, Patriots!

At Franklin County High School, the social studies teachers proudly wore themed shirts to celebrate the Constitution’s 238th birthday! 🎉
Across FCS, we continue to honor the values of liberty, justice, and civic responsibility. Whether students are exploring the Bill of Rights or engaging in thoughtful discussions about current events, today reminds us all of the enduring power of “We the People.”
Happy Constitution Day to all!

We will be highlighting our schools and how they celebrate agriculture in unique ways throughout the district!
#OneTeamFCS

From September 15–19, our schools are celebrating the vital role agriculture plays in education, community, and creativity. At Bridgeport Elementary, students in Mrs. Huff’s Art Class have been diving into the rich tradition of quilting, an art form deeply rooted in agricultural history.
🎨 Through a Collaborative Quilt project, students explored how quilting has evolved over time and how artists continue to innovate. They studied the work of Libs Elliot, a contemporary Canadian artist known for blending traditional quilting with modern technology, sparking inspiration and creativity in the classroom.
In addition to the quilt, students celebrated DOT Day by creating flower pot artwork, connecting the themes of growth, agriculture, and artistic expression. Mrs. Huff’s vision brought together art and ag in a meaningful way that highlights the power of cross-curricular learning.
Franklin County Schools are proud to support experiences that connect students to Kentucky’s agricultural heritage while fostering creativity and innovation. We’re ALL IN for Ag Education! 🌾🧵
Also- one more shoutout for our BPE Art Teacher, Mrs. Huff for the outstanding vision she had!
