Dear Franklin County community,

We are thrilled to bring this amazing opportunity to all of our families who utilize our bus transportation services. With this app, you’ll be able to track your child’s bus in real time, receive important notifications, and communicate directly with our transportation team. Keep an eye out for an invitation from us soon if you haven't already received your invite!

We also want to share some early feedback from one of our families. This is proof that this tool is already making a difference! A huge shoutout to Sherry Boarman and Brad McKinney for their dedication and hard work in bringing this project to life.

FCS community,

We are very excited to bring our new Media Arts pathway to our students starting next school year.

Take a look at the bio he has submitted for us to share with you:

"Hi, my name is Nicholas Collier, and I'm super excited to accept the Media Art teacher position at FCCTC. I graduated from Asbury University in 2019 with my Bachelor's in Media Communications. Since then, I've had some great professional experience working with organizations like Marshall University, ESPN, ESPN College GameDay, Drone Racing League, and even the Olympics. I can't wait to jump in and start teaching and mentoring the next generation of media professionals!"

Welcome to our team, Nicholas!

Welcome Back FCS! We’re back in school tomorrow, but unfortunately, some roads are still not accessible for bus travel. Due to road access limitations, buses will not be able to travel on the following roads: •Prince Hall Apartments / Ivy Avenue The bus stop will be located at the corner of Ivy Avenue and Myrtle Avenue. •Allnut Road The bus stop will be located at the corner of Allnut Road and East Main Street. •Colston Lane There is no turnaround available and no alternate stop can be provided. If a road is not accessible by bus, there will be no pickup available on that road. Families will need to use the nearest designated bus stop listed above. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to safely transport students. Thank you for your cooperation. We cannot wait to welcome our students and staff back to campuses tomorrow!

Dear FCS community, please see the following message from Superintendent Kopp: Our bus drivers came in today and drove their routes to help determine if we could be in school tomorrow. Unfortunately they came back with numerous concerns and areas that made it just not feasible for us to be in tomorrow. As much as I hate it, it will be NTI day #9 for Franklin County. ASP’s will be open. Only ASP workers, bus mechanics and essential maintenance and custodial staff as directed by their supervisors need to report to work in person. All other employees will work remotely. We have a Google doc with all of the concerning areas that we will be sharing with both the county and state road departments tomorrow for them to treat with the hope of being back in school on Tuesday. Stay safe! #courage | #oneteamfcs
