On February 7, 2025, the Western Hills vs. Frankfort High School basketball game had a special start, thanks to a talented young singer. Audrey Pollard, a fourth-grader from Bridgeport, captivated the audience with her rendition of the National Anthem.
Audrey's performance was met with enthusiastic applause from the crowd, setting a patriotic and spirited tone for the game. Her clear, confident voice and poise on such a big stage were truly impressive, making her a standout moment of the evening.
The game itself was highly anticipated, but Audrey's performance added an extra layer of excitement and pride for everyone in attendance. It's not every day that a fourth-grader gets to open a high school sports event, and Audrey certainly made the most of her moment in the spotlight.
Congratulations to Audrey Pollard for her outstanding performance and for representing her school and community with such grace and talent!
