The Academy is excited to announce a new partnership with local business owner and community leader Pete Gall for monthly speaking engagements with students. Gall, owner of Undisputed Fitness in Frankfort, will visit the Academy to speak with students about their choices, second chances, and resilience.
Gall’s involvement with the school isn’t new. He served as the Academy’s keynote speaker at its 2026 graduation ceremony, leaving a lasting impression on graduates and families alike. Raised in Frankfort, he graduated from Western Hills High School and attended Western Kentucky University, backed by a loving and supportive family. In college, he got mixed in with the wrong crowd and made choices that led to the worst mistake of his life.
Gall did not let that chapter of his life define him. He spent years rebuilding his life and returned home to Frankfort with a new purpose. He opened Undisputed Fitness, a place that focuses on strength, community, and personal growth.
"I had all the help in the world and still messed up my life. I can't imagine how difficult things could be without any guidance or help, so I want to do my best to help and give that guidance,” said Pete Gall, Undisputed Fitness Owner.
Throughout the monthly visits to the Academy, Gall hopes one message stays constant: no matter how difficult life gets, how hard you are knocked down, or how impossible the road ahead may seem, there is always a way back up.
“At The Academy, we are extremely appreciative of the work Pete does with our students and for the greater community. He has been one of our biggest supporters, and his willingness to jump in and serve is something we will never take lightly,” said Nick Sheridan, Academy Principal. “Seeing someone like Pete use his business and his past for the greater good is inspiring for all of us.”
Gall continues to give back to his community. Most recently, he completed a 450-mile charity run to raise money and awareness for the And Still Foundation, a nonprofit he founded to help children afford sports equipment and participation fees.
The promise of Franklin County Schools and the Academy is that every student succeeds. Through this promise, staff at the Academy remind their students that the past does not dictate their future, and they are capable of achieving great things.
