During the school year, a student of Franklin County Schools is nominated and selected as the month’s champion. The students who are selected are positive role models, are invested in their school community, and are committed to academic excellence and personal growth.

Dorian is an outstanding student, athlete, leader, and role model who consistently demonstrates what it means to live out the Wolverine way. Whether he is completing his schoolwork, participating in football, supporting his teammates, or helping someone in need, he gives his best effort and never looks for an excuse to take the easy way out.

Dorian is the definition of a team player. He encourages others and understands that everyone has an important role to play. His leadership does not come from simply being the loudest person in the room; instead, it comes from his work ethic, character, and kindness.

One of Dorian’s teachers stated, “Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of serving as both his advisor and Family and Consumer Sciences teacher. During that time, I have watched him grow into an exceptional young man who leads through his actions every day. He has made a lasting impression on me and those around him, and I truly believe he is an outstanding representation of what a Wolverine should be.”
