📣 Franklin County Schools – Summer Feeding Program Update

We’re proud to serve families through our Summer Feeding Program at EMS and BMS for ALL Franklin Countians! Please review the important traffic patterns, pick-up procedures, and meal information below to help us provide a safe and efficient experience for everyone.

🚧 Important Weekly Change – TUESDAYS ONLY

  • The EMS entrance is CLOSED every Tuesday.

  • Families must enter through the Franklin County High School (FCHS) entrance.

  • Continue through the route to the bus doors for meal pick-up.


🥪 Weekly Meal Information

Participants receive 7 days’ worth of breakfast and lunch meals at each pickup.

Sample Menu Includes:

  • Breakfast options such as Pop-Tarts, cereal, muffins, banana bread, breakfast wraps, and milk/juice

  • Lunch options such as pizza, grilled cheese, Uncrustables, taco sticks, sliders, fruit, vegetables, milk, and juice

    (Items may vary due to availability.)

  • Receive a FREE dozen eggs per car (while supplies last)


Food Safety Reminders

To keep meals safe and fresh at home:

  • Wash hands for at least 30 seconds before handling food

  • Refrigerate cold items at 40°F or below within 1 hour

  • Freeze items (when indicated) at 0°F or below within 1 hour

  • Heat hot foods to 165°F before serving

  • Serving Sizes: Some cans or packages contain multiple services. Please check the listed serving size to ensure proper portions.
