NINE GSA FINALISTS ARE FCHS FLYERS PROMO

Franklin County Schools is proud to announce that eight Franklin County High School students have been selected as 2026 finalists for the prestigious Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA) program. These exceptional student artists represent multiple disciplines and reflect the creativity, dedication, and talent thriving within FCS.

The Governor’s School for the Arts is a statewide summer program that provides advanced training and mentorship to Kentucky’s most promising young artists. Each finalist earned this honor through a competitive application and audition process, demonstrating outstanding commitment to their craft.

We are incredibly proud of these eight students and the passion they bring to the arts. Their creativity enriches our schools and our community. This recognition demonstrates the strength of arts education in Franklin County Schools and the tremendous talent of our Flyers.

Students selected for the final round will attend the GSA Summer Program, where they will participate in immersive arts training alongside peers from across the state.
