Franklin County Schools is proud to announce that eight Franklin County High School students have been selected as 2026 finalists for the prestigious Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA) program. These exceptional student artists represent multiple disciplines and reflect the creativity, dedication, and talent thriving within FCS.
The Governor’s School for the Arts is a statewide summer program that provides advanced training and mentorship to Kentucky’s most promising young artists. Each finalist earned this honor through a competitive application and audition process, demonstrating outstanding commitment to their craft.

Students selected for the final round will attend the GSA Summer Program, where they will participate in immersive arts training alongside peers from across the state.
