Franklin County Schools is proud to announce a historic achievement by Violet Pollard, an exceptional student-athlete from Elkhorn Middle School, who placed third in her weight class at the Kentucky Girls State Wrestling Championships. With this milestone, Violet becomes Elkhorn Middle School’s first-ever female state placer in wrestling—a groundbreaking accomplishment that marks a new era for the school’s athletic program and for female athletes across the district.
Violet’s performance demonstrates remarkable dedication, discipline, and resilience.
