Frankfort, KY — Western Hills High School student Aidan Davis has been selected as an exhibitor in the UC Blue Ash High School Regional Photography Exhibition, one of the most competitive student art showcases in the region. His photograph is among the 65 works chosen for display out of 1,648 submissions from 429 students representing 46 high schools across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

The exhibition is organized by the UC Blue Ash College Media Communications & Technology Department and will be held at the UC Blue Ash Art Gallery from November 17 to December 12, 2025. An opening reception and awards ceremony took place on November 20, 2025, where winners in seven judged categories were announced.

About the Photograph

Davis’s image depicts Locomotive 630, a historic steam engine, traveling through a wooded area with autumn foliage. The photograph highlights both the technical precision and artistic composition valued by the exhibition’s curators, H. Michael Sanders (Professor Emeritus, Archivist & Curator) and Roo Hedrick (Program Coordinator, award-winning photographer).
