FRANKFORT, KY – Elkhorn Elementary students, affectionately known as the Elks, celebrated Veterans Day with an incredibly moving ceremony filled with deep respect and heartfelt gratitude for the nation's service members.
The assembly, held on the morning of November 11th, was a beautiful tribute designed to teach students the importance of honoring those who have served in the United States military.
The Elkhorn Elementary ceremony brought the community together and showcased the respect the young students have for veterans. Elements of the tribute included:
