Thirteen students in Franklin County High School’s Animal Science pathway have officially completed their Beef Quality and Care Assurance (BQCA) certification! This hands-on training equips students with essential knowledge in responsible beef cattle management, animal welfare, and food safety. This is an important milestone in their agricultural education journey!

The certification course was held the week before fall break and hosted by Kentucky State University. We proudly join Franklin County High School in expressing our deepest gratitude to Mr. Keenan Bishop, Franklin County Agriculture Extension Agent, for his outstanding leadership. Thank you to Kentucky State University for hosting this valuable experience, and congratulations again to our certified students for their hard work and commitment.
