Butch and Transportation Team

After 43 incredible years of service, Butch Riddle is officially retiring from his role as a bus driver with Franklin County Schools and what a legacy he leaves behind.

His dedication, reliability, and care for generations of students have made him a beloved member of the school family and a true hometown hero.

Whether it was early mornings, snowy roads, or the everyday hustle of keeping kids safe and on time, Butch showed up with heart and commitment. Last night’s celebration by the transportation team was a well-deserved tribute to a career that touched countless lives.

Let’s all take a moment to thank Butch, celebrate his journey, and wish him joy, rest, and adventure in this next chapter. Franklin County won’t be the same without him behind the wheel but his impact will keep rolling on.

👏

Thank you, Butch. You’ve earned every bit of this moment.
