In FCS, we believe that learning goes far beyond the classroom—and thanks to our incredible community partners at YesArts, our Bulldogs are proving just that.
Throughout the year, students from The Academy will have the opportunity to visit YesArts for enrichment experiences that blend creativity, connection, and personal growth. Whether they’re painting murals, exploring mixed media, or engaging in storytelling workshops, our Bulldogs are welcomed into a space that nurtures both artistic expression and emotional well-being.
YesArts, located in the heart of Franklin County, is known for its trauma-informed, inclusive programming that supports youth through the power of the arts. Their YAY (Yes Arts Youth) initiative creates safe spaces for students of all backgrounds to build confidence, find mentorship, and explore their creativity—all while reinforcing protective factors that help disrupt cycles of addiction and adversity.
For our students, these visits aren’t just trips—they’re moments of joy, reflection, and discovery. The impact is visible in their artwork, their conversations, and the pride they carry back to school.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire YesArts team for being such thoughtful and generous partners. Your commitment to our students and our community is deeply appreciated, and we’re proud to walk alongside you in this work.
Here’s to more creativity, more connection, and more Bulldog brilliance—thanks to YesArts.
We are proud of our bulldogs!
