TaZyriah Miley 2A Girls 100 Meter Hurdle Jump

Franklin County Schools is proud to celebrate FCHS' Class of 2025 TaZyriah Miley, who capped off her outstanding high school track and field career by winning a state championship at the Class 2A Clark’s Pump-n-Shop State Track and Field Championships on Friday.

Miley took home the title in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.37 seconds, earning her the prestigious honor of being named the Traditional Bank Athlete of the Week. Her championship race was run in light rain, showcasing her determination and resilience on the track. She had previously broken the 15-second barrier with a time of 14.86 seconds to win the Class 2A Region 4 meet.

In addition to her title in the hurdles, Miley also competed in three other events at the state meet. She ran as part of both the 4x100- and 4x200-meter relay teams, which each finished in third place. She also competed individually in the 100-meter dash, placing 15th in the state.

TaZyriah’s success is a reflection of her dedication, leadership, and athletic excellence. Franklin County Schools congratulates her on an incredible career and thanks her for representing our district with pride.
