At Franklin County Career & Technical Center, our staff and students believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back.  Recently, our instructors and students have demonstrated this through their remarkable collaboration with the Capital City Activity Center/Meals on Wheels Greater Frankfort.

Our auto tech and electrical students took on the challenge of a non-operational motorized wheelchair. With their expertise and dedication, they brought it back to life, restoring independence and mobility to a cherished senior in our community. This act of kindness is a testament to the transformative impact of practical skills and compassionate hearts.

Meanwhile, our welding students repaired a table cart essential for the Center's Free Food Friday preparations. Their hard work ensures that the Center can continue to provide vital services to our senior citizens, showcasing the real-world applications of their learning.

We are immensely proud to see our schools support these invaluable organizations and to witness our students making a tangible difference. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected community, one act of service at a time.
