At Collins Lane Elementary, Ms. Harp is known for her unique and hands-on approach to teaching math, especially when it comes to number lines! Her third-grade students eagerly anticipate her lessons, not just for the math, but for the fun and laughter that is always present within her class!

Ms. Harp's enthusiasm is contagious. She is always joining in, playing along with her students and making jokes leaving everyone laughing. Her hands-on approach made the Kentucky Academic Standard (KAS) for third-grade math come alive, specifically the standard KY.3.NF.2, which involves understanding fractions as numbers on a number line. 

By the end of the lesson, the students were not only proficient in number lines but also had a pretty cool memory to tuck away.
