Our Why is Our Promise: Every Student Succeeds
Our vision and goals for every project support our district promise: Every Student Succeeds! Safety is a key factor to success.
Vision: The CUES project envisions a future where every Kentucky school district benefits from a seamless, secure, and efficient Identity and Access Management (IAM) system. By providing comprehensive IAM services, we aim to create a Universal Identity for all FCS users enabling effortless access to both local and state resources.
Primary Goals:
-
Seamless and Secure Access: This work will help us ensure that every user in Franklin County Schools has secure and seamless access to necessary resources, including user authentication, authorization, and account management.
-
Universal Identity Management: Create a Universal Identity for all users in Franklin County Schools, enabling effortless access to both local and state resources, and manage systems such as Active Directory, Clever, Infinite Campus, Microsoft365, and Google Workspace. This also ensures that our student and staff data is kept secure and accessible only on a need-to-know basis.
-
Enhanced User Experience and Support: Provide frictionless and secure authentication experiences tailored to the needs of Franklin County Schools' users, enhance self-service and delegated account administration, and reduce human error burdens/limitations, thereby increasing instructional time in classrooms.
The biggest win? No longer will our students and staff have to wait; ensuring our people are welcome and ready to roll as soon as possible
