Human trafficking is
defined as organized criminal activity in which human beings are treated as
possessions to be controlled and exploited (as by being forced into
prostitution or involuntary labor). It can involve foreign nationals as well as
American citizens, and it can involve children, teenagers and adults.
Other Western Hills students who were included in the exhibit were: Sydney Vest, Grade 11, Emily Brown, Grade 12, Carson Hoskins, Grade 11,Dalton Giles, Grade 9, Maddie Quire, Grade 9, Lazay Vera, Grade 10 and Grayson Strasburger, Grade 12. All entries were completed in Western Hills High School classes under Western Hills Teachers Ken Hockensmith, Social Studies and Jan Kirstein, Visual Arts.
