This updated version of yesterday's post clarifies the new immunization requirements for all Kentucky students: As the 2018-19 school year approaches (opening day for students is Wednesday, August 15!), Franklin County Schools students' families are encouraged to schedule doctor visits as soon as possible because of new immunization requirements outlined by Kentucky Administrative Regulations.

Our school is entitiled to add a third parent member to our school council this year because of the diversity of our community. The third parent needs to belong to a minority group. All parents can vote on this person. If you are interested in running, please complete the form below and return to school by May 30th at 4:00 pm. If you are not intested in running, think about encouraging a friend to run.Voting will be held Monday, June 4, 2018 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM in the school office. Elkhorn is proud to present "Music Day Camp", Jun 18-22, 8:00-12:00. Students will work on dance, drama, and singing, and will be provided a lite snack, and a mini-musical presentation will be given at the end for families to enjoy! The Franklin County Public Schools is once again providing free meals for children under 18 years of age as part of the Summer Food Service Program for children. Meals will be provided at no cost to all children under 18 years of age between Monday, June 4, 2018 and Friday, August 3, 2018.
