RED RIBBON & BULLY PREVENTION WEEK 2018The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to present a visible commitment to living a safe, healthy, and drug-free life. It is also Kentucky Safe Schools Week which promotes being the best you can possibly be. The goal is for students to find their skills and talents that make them strong and unique. It’s School Spirit Day. Wear Bridgeport colors: green and white.Wednesday October 24th- It’s cool to be drug free! Wear sunglasses.Thursday October 25th- We have our thinking caps on and are making good choices! Wear a hat. Friday October 26th- Be incredible! Wear your favorite superhero shirt in support of Safe Schools Week.

The Franklin County Schools is holding a special event Thursday, Oct. 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for parents and guardians of students of all grade levels who are learning English as a second language.
On Friday, September 28th, Bridgeport had the honor of being a part of a very special reunion when PFC Kayla Thompson of the KY National Guard returned home and surprised her children Kaydence, Christian, and Shaelynn. Kayla completed AIT at Fort Eustis, VA and Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC. She is a part of the 63rd Theater Aviation Brigade. Welcome home and thank you for allowing us to be a part of this special day!
