The Franklin County Board of Education voted unanimously this evening to appoint Mark Kopp, a 24-year educator, as the school district’s next superintendent. Mr. Kopp is currently Chief Academic Officer/Associate Superintendent for Instructional Services for the Hardin County Public Schools. His employment as Franklin County’s superintendent will begin July 1, 2017.
