I am glad to have been given the opportunity to work with parents, students, teachers and community members at the Early Learning Village, where great things are happening. I look forward to being part of the success your child will experience as he/she is challenged to reach full academic potential this school year.
I have always believed that a quality education is very important. I believe that all children can learn and it is very rewarding to see the process of learning taking place with all students. I received my bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University and my master’s degree from University of Kentucky. I am entering my thirteenth year in the education profession. My professional experience is varied having worked at the school level, district level and state level.
I know that parents play a vital role in the education of their child; without your support, full academic achievement would not be possible.
Parent support comes in many different ways, and it is greatly appreciated. To list just a few examples:
- Making sure that your child attends school everyday
- Making sure your child is on time
- Making sure your child has needed supplies
- Making sure homework is completed and returned to school
- Attending scheduled conferences
- Attending PTO meetings
- Chaperoning Field Trips
Parents want what is best for their child, and the staff at the Early Learning Village is committed to giving their best. I am proud to be a part of a staff that has made such a great commitment to education. I look forward to meeting and working with you and your child this school year.
