Scholastic Book Fair is coming!

Peaks Mill Elementary will host a Scholastic Book Fair from February 27-March 6. Funds raised will help purchase books for the library, classroom libraries, and students of PME. Families, faculty, and the community are invited to attend this fun reading event that helps inspire children to become lifelong readers.

The Book Fair will feature two special events. One is “Breakfast with the Book Fair” on February 27 from 7am-8am when parents and their children are invited to come before school to enjoy some donuts and shop the book fair. The second event is “Seuss-tacular Family Night “on March 4 from 4-6pm. Along with the book fair there will be free family fun, food and learning!

The Book Fair will be open daily from 8:00am to 2:30pm, Feb. 27 to March 5. On March 6, the book fair will be open from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

Peaks Mill Elementary is located at 100 Peaks Mill Road, Frankfort, KY.

The Book Fair offers specially priced books and educational products, including popular series, award-winning titles, new releases, adult bestsellers, and other great reads from more than 100 publishers.

Book Fair customers may help the school build classroom libraries by purchasing books through the Classroom Wish List program. In addition, the Book Fair will feature the All for Booksprogram, where kids can share the thrill of reading by donating loose change to purchase books from the Book Fair for the school library. Scholastic matches monetary donations with a donation of up to one million books, which go to national non-profit organizations dedicated to helping families in need, such as the Kids in Distressed Situations and Kids In Need Foundation.
