Kindergarten Registration


Children who will be five years old on or before August 1, 2018, are eligible for kindergarten.

Parents need to bring as much of the following information to kindergarten registration as possible:
  • Proof of Residence (Must provide)
  • Birth certificate (Must provide)
  • Physical Exam Documentation
  • Eye Exam Documentation
  • Dental Exam Documentation
  • Immunization Certificate

UPDATED: Students need additional vaccinations before the 2018-19 school year....

This updated version of yesterday's post clarifies the new immunization requirements for all Kentucky students: As the 2018-19 school year approaches (opening day for students is Wednesday, August 15!), Franklin County Schools students' families are encouraged to schedule doctor visits as soon as possible because of new immunization requirements outlined by Kentucky Administrative Regulations.
