Afternoon Pick Up

Yesterday, we posted about our morning drop off routine. If you didn't see it, please scroll down and read that post. Today, we want to give you a few tips about the end of the school day.

1. Please be patient with bus times the first few days of school. Busses often run a little later due to elementary runs and ensuring our younger FCS students are safely home with an adult.
2. School lets out at 3:20pm and we teach up until 3:20. Students will not be let out of the building for car pick up until 3:20pm. There are no checkouts during dismissal.
3. If you are picking up your child, please pull into a parking space while you wait to ensure everyone can get into the parking lot. Please do not wait at the curb as it backs up traffic.

Finally, as a general rule, know that your students are well taken care of while here at the Mighty EMS. We are excited to see them, get to know them, teach them, and watch them grow!

Morning Drop Off

Please take a momet to read about morning drop off procedures to ensure it goes smoothly.

  1. Students riding the bus to school will be dropped off in the back parking lot. They will need to come in and either go to the gym or the cafeteria for breakfast.

  2. Students who are car riders AND eating breakfast will be dropped off in front of the cafeteria and enter the outside cafeteria door. There will be staff both outside and inside the cafeteria to assist students with supplies.

  3. Students who are car riders and are NOT eating breakfast will be dropped off in front of the gym. They will enter and sit in designated areas. There will be staff both outside and inside the cafeteria to assist students with supplies.

  4. Any student who was not at Back to School night will need to check the walls in the gym or cafeteria for rosters. These will tell them who their first period teachers are and where to report at 8:30am. Again, there will be staff around to assist students find their names, and their classrooms.

  5. The only students and parents who need to enter the front doors of the building are those who are dropping off medication, or those who have not yet registered.
