K-Prep Spirit Week May 4th-11th
Lets get ready for TESSSTTTTTINNNNGGGGGG!!! Bridgeport Students are getting pumped up about KPREP testing and we will be showing our S.P.I.R.I.T. by dressing up May 4th - May 11th.

Monday May 4th-“HATS OFF TO GREAT SCORES”- wear your favorite hat!

Tuesday May 5th-“Go crazy over GREAT scores”- wear silly socks!

Wednesday May 6-“We’re wacky over doing GREAT on our test”-wear wacky/mis-matched/backwards clothes”

Thurs May 7-“ We know to get lots of rest during testing”-Wear PJs

Friday May 8-“We’ll be so BRIGHT” on our test we’ll need shades! “Wear sunglasses!”

Monday May 11-“We’ve got GREAT school spirit!” - Wear your GREEN and WHITE!!!  

Bridgeport Kindergarten Camp and Registration Information
Bridgeport Elementary is having Kindergarten Registration on May 20 and 21 and this summer we’ll be doing “Camp Kindergarten” on August 5th. If you have a student this age please join us for these events.  We can't wait to add new members to our Bridgeport Family.   
Bridgeport Odyssey Team State Champions!
Bridgeport Odyssey of the Mind team competed at the state tournament Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Union, Kentucky. The team selected the long term problem of Runaway Train in which they built a vehicle that traveled on a track system completing obstacles. The team also developed a skit to accompany their problem. The team placed first in their division and will be advancing to Worlds!!
Team members are: Nikhil A., Bryce B., Aathman B., Kaylee J., and Sanjna R.
Bridgeport Congratulates Sanjna R. for her digital art advancing to S.T.L.P. State Competition!
Congratulation to Sanjna R. for her digital art pieces that have been invited to compete at the S.T.L.P Competition on March 26th. Sanjna and her artwork will travel with Bridgeport's project team Diabetic Youth Unite to compete at the State level. She completed two digital art pieces using the program SketchUp. Bridgeport Wins 2nd Place Overall at District Govenor's Cup!
We are so very proud of our Academic Team who placed 2nd Overall Saturday, February 28th. Our Quick Recall team (Sanjna R., Lelia P., Nikhil A., Carson B., Preston M., Cameron H., Aathman B., and Luke W.) placed first, our Future Problem Solving Team (Kaylee J., Nick A., Bryce B. Cadence H.) placed 2nd, and we had several students place in content areas.

Bridgeport K-Kids Promoted Kindness in Style
Bridgeport Elementary's Kiwanis Kids Club promoted kindness at our BRAGS celebration to kick off a week of kindness. They had students cheering and learning about kind acts while having fun. Kids were reminded that their actions matter and students/teachers kept track of their kind deeds all week long. We are proud that our Bridgeport students chose to make a difference one kind act at a time!

Bridgeport is Collecting Box Tops for Education!

Please continue to look for box tops for education labels on the products that you use.  Send them to school with your child and Mrs. Gosney will send them in for our school to earn $0.10 per label!  We appreciate your help making a difference for our school. 
Understanding Your Child's Grade:
Intermediate Students are grading on the following scale, as defined by the district on Infinite Campus:

A = 92% - 100%

B = 83% - 91%

C = 14% - 82%

D = 65% - 73%

F = 64% - 0%
