All students need additional vaccinations and new immunization certificates before the 2018-2019 school year.

Franklin County Schools students’ families are encouraged to schedule doctor visits as soon as possible because of the new immunization requirements outlined by Kentucky Administrative Regulations 902 KAR 2:060 in covering Hepatitis A and Meningitis B vaccinations. The first dose of Hepatitis A, which is required for all unvaccinated students regardless of age, must be received prior to the start of the 2018-2019 school year.  Hepatitis A is a two-dose vaccine that requires six months between each shot.  Both shots are required to be completed prior to February 15, 2019.
