Welcome to the Early Learning Village!
The first day of school is a great milestone for your child. We are thrilled to be teaching your son/daughter as they begin an exciting new school year. Research tells us that between the ages of 3 and 5, more than 90 percent of the architecture of the brain is already in place---this means that kindergarten is a crucial start to your child’s educational career. The most important decision that you can make for the success of your child is to ensure that your child has great school attendance and is at school on time each day.
I am very excited to be your child’s principal and I encourage you to stay in close contact with me this school year.
Everyone is excited about the up-coming school year and anxious to meet each of you. Each
year our kindergarten students enter school with a diverse range of experiences eagerly ready to absorb everything kindergarten has to offer. Our goal is for every student to reach his or her developmental educational potential by building a strong academic foundation. A student’s academic success is based on developmental readiness, a nurturing environment, and parental involvement.
We believe that teachers and parents should work together to provide challenging and engaging learning experiences. This partnership will build children's confidence and encourage them to continue to see learning as both enjoyable, useful and provide a strong foundation for their future intellectual, physical
and social development.
On behalf of the Early Learning Village Staff, we welcome you and want you to know that we
will do everything we can to make your child’s kindergarten start and kindergarten the best possible!
