Governor's Scholars for Entrepreneurs

What? 3-week summer program where students develop an innovative product or service.
Who? Students in 9th, 10th, 11th grade. No minimum GPA. No test scores. Students are selected for creativity, skills, and motivation. GSE is a place for creative, free-thinking individuals.
When? Summer 2018

ACT Scholarship

Seniors who meet the following criteria may apply:
1. a student who has overcome challenges and can articulate education and career actions;
2. a student who has a composite ACT score of a 22 on a single test date or a 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale.

Horse Farm Workers' Educational Assistance

This Assistance Fund provides scholarship assistance toward tuition only to applicants whose parent have worked full-time on a central Kentucky Thoroughbred horse farm.  Scholarships are awarded based on need, merit, and a personal interview.  Up to seven $15,000 renewable scholarships are available for first generation college attendees, but applicants must contact Muffy Stuart at mstuart727@msn.com or call 859-269-1719 by January 20, 2018.

Coolidge Scholarship

Any high school JUNIOR who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2019 is eligible to apply for the Coolidge Scholarship which is a full-ride scholarship that covers a student's tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study.  This can be used by recipients at any accredited US college or university.  The main criterion is academic merit.  More information, including the application, is available at https://Coolidgescholars.org.  All applications must be received by 5 pm EST, January 24, 2018.   Posted on Tuesday, November 21, 2017

Design a Better Future Scholarship

Honors Graduation is proud to announce their 2018 Scholarship program - the HonorsGradU Design A Better Future $10,000 Scholarship. The Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary are sponsoring the Youth American Creative Patriotic Art Awards program. Kentucky Federation of Republican Women

The KFRW will seek to grant a $2,000 scholarship in 2018 to a college-bound high school senior girl who has been politically active within the Republican Party during her high school career. The qualified applicant will graduate from a Kentucky high school in 2018, is a registered Republican, and plans to enroll at an accredited college or university in Kentucky.  Applications can be found in the Guidance Office and the deadline to apply is April 2, 2018.
