Horse Farm Workers' Educational Assistance

This Assistance Fund provides scholarship assistance toward tuition only to applicants whose parent have worked full-time on a central Kentucky Thoroughbred horse farm.  Scholarships are awarded based on need, merit, and a personal interview.  Up to seven $15,000 renewable scholarships are available for first generation college attendees, but applicants must contact Muffy Stuart at or call 859-269-1719 by January 20, 2018.   
To apply for the annual scholarship, request an application by calling 859-269-1719.  Application deadline is July 1, 2018. 

Aaron Minc Scholarship

This $1,500 scholarship was created to provide students with an opportunity to achieve their career goals.  Students from all majors and areas of study are encouraged to apply.  Each applicant needs to submit a short essay discussing cyber bullying.    Requirements are: be a high school senior and have been accepted into a college and be a US citizen.   The link to the scholarship page is  Application deadline is July 31, 2018.  

United Energy Workers Healthcare Scholarship

The UEW Healthcare EEOICPA Scholarship is now available to any high school senior nationwide.  The award amount is $1,000 and the application can be found at  The deadline to apply is July 31, 2018. 

Aspiring Nurse Scholarship has just launched it 4th annual Asprigin Nurse Scholarship. $1,000 scholarship to a future nurse in the high school graduating class of 2018.  Open to high school seniors who plan to pursue college education in nursing, including LPN/LVN, ADN, and BSN programs.  Application deadline is August 31, 2018.    To find detailed information and the scholarship form visit

ShoesTracker Scholarship

The ShoesTracker $2000 scholarship to help students save money on their education and draw attention to an often ignored issue: foot pain and health. More information and the scholarship application can be found at  Application deadline is September 9, 2018.

KAGC Scholarship

The Kentucky Association of Government Communicators has created a scholarship program to recognize Kentucky high school seniors for their hard work and commitment to both school and community.  A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a senior who intends to study communications or journalism at any post-secondary institution.  Deadline to apply is September 10, 2018.  The application is available at
