Monday, September 16th

  • Students returning to Spanish Honor Society must pay $5 dues by September 30th. New members should have received a letter.
  • Blue Grass Council- Boy Scouts of America, Scout Troop 1281, informational session TODAYMonday, September 16th, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the Hancock Pavillion at Lakeview Park.
  • ATTENTION JUNIORS! If you are interested in applying for the 40th Annual Youth Salute, please stop by the Guidance Office. To qualify you must be a high school junior with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and have held 2 leadership roles in school, religious or community sponsored events. 
  • JUNIORS- The PSAT will be given Wednesday, October 16th in the Library. 
  • The Gatton Academy and the Craft Academy are coming to Franklin County for a visit. Thursday, September 19th, 2019 from 6-8 PM. Franklin County Board of Education building #300.
  • Any Junior or Senior planning to be a Legislative Page must pick up an application in the Guidance office. Applications must be returned to Ms. Higgs by September 25th. This applies to new and returnung Pages.

  • Homecoming court- Freshmen: Kiana Mitchell and Kaden Moorman. Sophomore: Ella Davis and Aiden Carter. Junior: Harper Heffley and Craig Badger. Seniors Court- Senior Girls: Kaley Holescher, Jessamine Penn, Carleigh Parr, Giorgia Diano, Savannah Wood. Senior Boys: Cole Rogers, Izaiah Satterly, Corrion Hazlewood, Palmer Collett, Jacob Tracy.  
  • The United States Air-Force is starting a program to train high school students to be pilots. Any interested student must be in ROTC to apply. This program procides qualified and selected students with training during the summer at a University with the objective to earn their private pilot license. Please see the Guidance Office for more information. 
  • All Homecoming Court representatives need to see Ms. Wilson TOMORROW, Tuesday, September 17th after school for a very brief meeting.
  • Tomorrow after school, meet in Ms. Fraley's room for decorating signs for the Pep rally this Friday.
  • There will be NO Academic Team practice today. There will be practice on a different afternoon this week...players shoukd check their emails and listen to the announcements. 
  • Student Council meeting tomorrow at 8:15, all class officers are welcome.
  • After the winner and all other places for hall decorating is announced, it needs to be announced that the winning class at the end of the week gets free admission to the homecoming game.
  • Tomorrow! Tacky Tourist Tuesday, dress up if you can!
